Job Description
You will join one of the development teams in charge of electronics hardware development. As part of a strong hardware engineering team, using hardware engineering state-of-the-art best practices, you will participate in the specification, design, prototyping and debugging of the hardware products.
The team designs frame-grabbers – high-speed data acquisition circuits – using 100G CoaXPress, 100G Ethernet, (LP)DDR4-5 and PCIe Gen4-5-6 technologies.
You will take part in all aspects of hardware design from initial design phases to production stage, including components selection, electrical calculations, schematics drawing, layout specifications writing, signal integrity simulations, power integrity simulations, layout design and review, lab measurements, and prototype debugging.
Profile
Electronics Engineering or equivalentmaster’s or PhD degree.
Requirements

Technical skills:
- 8+ years of experience in electronic board design, with the following strong points:High-speed digital interfaces (PCIe Gen4-5, (LP)DDR4-5, 12G-SDI, 100G Ethernet, etc.); FPGA; Power supplies; EMC.
- Expertise in Signal Integrity and Power Integrity design and simulation (with Siemens Hyperlynx or equivalent)
- Analog circuit design and simulation (SPICE)
- Experience with Altium Designer or equivalent schematics and layout design tool
- Strong experience in lab measurements and debugging of electronic circuits
- Experience in mechanics (housing & thermal aspects) is an asset
Project management skills:
- Strong structured approach to document management and design documentation
- Experience with a PLM system is an asset
Written and spoken professional proficiency in:
- French (B2 or higher)
- English (B2 or higher).
- German is an asset.
