Job Description

The successful applicant will join the Vision Software team, in Liège Science Park (Seraing, Belgium). The team oversees the development of Open eVision, an image processing and machine vision software tool. 

Thanks to his experience in the domain, the successful applicant will contribute to the research and development tasks of the Vision Software team. The R&D topics include pattern matching, efficient OCR and code reading, 3D data acquisition and processing and deep learning (AI) applied to industrial inspection.  

With his technical expertise and scientific background, he will support Euresys Product Management in strategical decisions about Euresys products.

Profile

  • PhD or master’s degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or equivalent 
  • Strong coding skills in C++ and OO designs, with ability to produce efficient code and to optimize complex algorithms 
  • Experience in signal processing, 2D and 3D data processing and computer vision algorithms (conventional and AI based approaches) 
  • Experience with standard machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, PyTorch or TensorFlow is a strong asset 
  • Good knowledge of CPU and GPU architectures 
  • Experience with Python and C# is an asset 
  • Experience with the following software tools is an asset: Microsoft Visual Studio, gcc, CMake, boost, git, OpenCV, IPP, PCL, Cuda, Halcon…  
  • Being familiar with code quality practices like unit testing, regression testing, and integration testing. 
  • Be able to collaborate with colleagues and business partners in French and in English
