web-download. Its software-only licensing scheme
benefits from a modern, fast and simple installation
and activation.

the user receives an e-mail with an
Activation ID allowing to access the
Customer Web Portal.

Open eVision can be immediately downloaded and activated. The development is ready to start

Open eVision offers a flexible choice of licenses to adapt to the OEMs and system
integrators needs. The licensing system interfaces are multilingual with an
automatic recognition of the language setup -English, Japanese and Chinese-. All
the means are implemented to not disrupt the continuity of the development or the
deployment and to optimize the time to market of your application.

A Convenient and Safe License Management System
|
|
The Open eVision licenses come with a License Manager and an access to the
Euresys License Customer Web Portal.
|
|
The Open eVision License Manager is used to activate the licenses, either with the
online or the offline activation procedure. Activating the Open eVision licenses is fast
and simple. They are activated either online, when the machine is connected to the
Internet, or offline.

The Online Activation is convenient and immediate. It is carried out through an
internet connection with Euresys servers.

The Offline Activation is used to activate a platform that is not connected to
the Internet or to quickly activate multiple platforms. This activation requires a
standard portable memory device such as a common USB memory or a writable CD.

In case of connection trouble, the License Manager offers a time-limited Emergency Activation procedure.

The Euresys License web Customer Portal allows to view the licenses
activated or still to be activated per user name. A protected Open eVision
download area is accessible for the latest releases.

|
|
|
|
Portable or Embedded Licenses
|
|
|
|
All the Open eVision libraries are available as Embedded or Portable licenses.
|
|
An Embedded License can be activated only once and is attached to a unique platform.
|
|
A Portable license can be moved from platform to platform as many times as needed.
In order to do so, a Portable license is then:

- Activated
- Returned to the Euresys license server
- Re-activated later on another platform

Deploy
|
|
|
Open eVision allows you to efficiently deploy your vision
application, whether you have a few or thousands of machines
to set up! The Open eVision Libraries installation file is a light
package designed to deploy Open eVision on computers that run
the developed vision application. It only includes the components
necessary to execute applications that use the Open eVision
libraries and the license manager to activate them.

If necessary, a separate license of Open eVision Studio is available for further on-site development.
