Euresys presents a new generation of video capture boards that make the difference in a DVR! The Picolo Alert and Diligent are the first video capture cards equipped with the Euresys video-surveillance FPGA Technology. This unique approach brings the card to an unmatched level of acquisition speed and image quality.

The Alert acquires images from up to sixteen independent cameras, with a total digitizing power of 200 / 240 fps constantly available. In addition, this digitizing power is freely shared between the sixteen channels, according to the requirements of an application. Capture and preview functions are simultaneously available for each camera and completely configurable for acquisition rate, image resolution, cropping, scaling, contrast, brightness, saturation, storage format... The Picolo Full Alert includes a watchdog circuit and professional I/O lines for easy system integration. The Picolo Diligent is a 4-channel video capture and MPEG-4 compression board providing in real-time four full D1 video streams to the PC and, simultaneously, four full D1 compressed video streams.

DirectShow users will naturally take advantages of the Picolo performances through a dedicated filter.
