EureCard Grablink. A high-speed Camera Link frame grabber for high-end imaging and machine vision applications.

Euresys is presenting the EureCard Grablink Expert 2. This Camera Link compatible frame grabber can acquire images simultaneously and independently from two line-scan or area-scan digital cameras in a dual Base configuration. Grablink Expert also supports the Medium configuration of the standard. It captures images from a triple-tap (10 to 12 bits) or a quad-tap (8 to 12 bits) camera. The maximum acquisition data rate for the 48-bit data path is 66 MHz. Grablink Expert has a 16 Mbytes on board frame buffer.

Grablink Expert is fitted for high-speed acquisition with a 64-bit, 66-MHz PCI Bus. Data is transferred at a theoretical throughput achieving 528 Mbytes per second!

The EureCard Grablink Expert 2 provides a complete control for Camera Link cameras. The board features asynchronous reset control, shutter control, and a programmable acquisition rate converter. The Grablink Expert is delivered with a separate I/O board providing 4 opto-isolated I/O lines for trigger and strobe. The on-board UART is recognised from the host computer as an additional regular COM port.

The Expert joins the Grablink series of products initiated by Euresys Grablink Value board. Both products are delivered with the same MultiCam driver. The Grablink Value already interfaces cameras from Adimec, Basler, Dalsa, Jai, Pulnix, and SVS-Vistek.
